Signs Now Traverse City opened in 1990. Superior customer service, a dedicated, professional team, and cutting-edge technology have since helped make Signs Now a leader in our industry. In 2008 long-time employee Andrew Kohlmann and his wife purchased the company. He and Amy run the center with the help of a devoted team of professionals. Signs Now specializes in creating signage that WORKS for its clients while meeting budgets and deadlines. Whether the signage needs to direct, inform or sell, the team will make sure that it does its job. Having a team with over 40 years of combined experience in the sign business allows Signs Now to create memorable signage which helps clients "Stand Out in a Crowded World".

Andrew
In 1996 Andrew began his career at Signs Now through his high school's TBA Career Tech Center work experience program. After high school Andrew worked full-time and took night classes at NMC to earn his associates degree with a strong focus in graphic arts, fine arts and business. During his tenure he helped Signs Now win the Signs Now Circle of Excellence Award, two Builder's Exchange Awards of Excellence and seven sales growth awards. Andrew enjoys spending time outdoors with his daughters, Annabelle and Alissa, and his wife, Amy. When he's not busy at work or with family he enjoys tending to his marine reef aquarium and scuba diving.

Amy
Amy grew up in Frankenmuth, Michigan. Amy graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in dental hygiene. Amy and Andrew were married in July of 2007. Amy works at North Shore Periodontics while also taking care of the bookkeeping needs of Signs Now. In her "free" time she takes care of daughters Annabelle and Alissa.

Chris
Chris is our production manager and quality control specialist and has been with Signs Now since 2002. Chris worked in the quality control department of a major automotive parts manufacturer for years before joining the team at Signs Now. Because of Chris' background and experience, he's very good at identifying potential problems and working to solve them. Chris and his wife Sandy are foster parents through Child and Family Services and enjoy supporting children in need. He also runs a DJ service and is an active volunteer for his church's media department.

Jodi
Jodi is responsible for the graphic design and development of client artwork for a wide variety of projects while also running the center's printing equipment including its newest latex inkjet printer. Jodi holds a bachelor's degree in graphic communications from Baker College of Cadillac, where she graduated with highest honors. Jodi's working knowledge of design is complimented with more than six years of experience in marketing and advertising, accentuating her understanding of corporate design in today's fast changing market. Jodi enjoys hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities as well as the arts.

Jessie
Jessie is our Customer Service Specialist. Jessie was born and raised in the Traverse City area, and has a passion for the success and achievements of local business. She received a business degree from Grand Valley State University, where she double majored in Management and Marketing. Prior to joining the team at Signs Now, she worked with a local company for 6 years, where she acquired a strong background in sales and customer service.

Erik
Erik is our head sign installer. He has more than 17 years of experience in the sign industry, most recently as the lead installer for Gardner Signs in Troy, Mich. He is a Michigan-licensed sign specialist, and has been involved with installations at many major venues in the Detroit area. He was also key team member in the installation of three General Motors icons at the top of the Renaissance Center (792' in the air) in Detroit.

Amber
Amber manages marketing campaigns and accounts receivables, as well as assisting with sales efforts. She holds an associate's degree from Northwestern Michigan College. Prior to joining Signs Now, she spent three years working for Safelite Solutions and Safelite AutoGlass acquiring a strong background in accounting aspects and customer service.

Chewbacca
Donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters and re-purposed as an event ambassador. Hobbies include standing still for long periods of time and loitering in showrooms and special events.
